My story unfolds in 2013 when I found myself divorced, armed with a protection order, and confronted with a harsh reality I hadn’t anticipated. I vividly remember the moment I borrowed a firearm, completely inexperienced, and came face to face with the profound importance of self-defense training. It was a pivotal moment that changed my life forever, prompting me to enroll in a Concealed Carry course, despite having never handled a firearm before. My journey isn’t just about self-preservation; it was about forging a path towards a safer world for women, sparing them the hardships I have endured.

Slade Defense has been founded to act as a beacon of hope. Our goal is to be recognized as a distinguished organization dedicated to concealed carry weapon training, led by women and exclusively tailored to women. Our mission remains crystal clear: to empower women through top-tier firearm training, nurturing a responsible and supportive community, and propelling widespread safety and empowerment for women across the nation.
